Hubballi, March 1, 2026: In a spirited display of community bonding and commitment to health, the Hubballi-Dharwad City Police successfully organized the Namma Police Namma Hamne (Our Police, Our Pride) event, featuring 5K and 10K runs that drew enthusiastic participation from police personnel, residents, youth, and fitness lovers across the twin cities.

The event was spearheaded by Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar, IPS, who took the lead in organizing and personally motivating participants. Known for his proactive role in community outreach programs—including previous marathons focused on mental health, fitness, and social awareness ,say no to drugs stay fit Karnataka —Commissioner Shashikumar  And DCP Raveesh stood at the forefront, ensuring seamless coordination and inspiring runners to embrace an active, disciplined lifestyle.
