We strongly condemn the move of the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation to install a statue of someone else instead of first relocating the statue of Sir Siddappa Kambali Saheb, who was the first citizen of the then Hubballi Municipality and held several positions in the Bande government.
We protest against the fact that the great men who fought for our country are not given priority in our land and demand that statues be installed in Hubli and Dharwad cities in the coming days to recognize the great men who fought for our country and sacrificed their lives. We request that statues of leaders of Kannada Nadu with a much-needed social message be installed.
