Hubballi: On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, members of the Muslim community gathered at the Eidgah Maidan in Hubballi to offer special mass prayers for world peace. The prayers were led by religious scholar Maulana Zaheer Uddin Khazi, who conducted the Namaz and recited verses seeking peace, harmony, and prosperity across the world.

Devotees prayed for communal harmony, good rainfall, and a prosperous agricultural season.

Following the prayers, members of both Hindu and Muslim communities exchanged greetings warmly, symbolizing unity and brotherhood.
Visit to Mutt Reflects Communal Harmony

Speaking on the occasion, Swamiji highlighted that Basava Jayanti and Ramadan are being observed on the same day this year, calling it a divine indication for people to live in harmony. He urged everyone to celebrate the festivals with peace, happiness, and mutual respect.

Several prominent personalities were present during the occasion, including Legislative Council Member F.H. Jakkappanavar, Sadanand Danganavar, Anjuman Islam Committee President A.M. Hindasgeri, Babajan Mudhol, and other Muslim leaders such as Anwar Mudhol, Mazar Khan, Shafi Muddebihal, Munaf Devagiri, Maula Saab Nadaf, among others.

A large number of Hindu and Muslim community leaders also attended the event, making it a strong example of communal harmony and unity in Hubballi.
