Hubballi , April 2, 2026: In a vibrant celebration of faith and unity,
the Karnataka State Christian Minority Welfare Association is gearing up to commemorate 10 years of its successful “Live for Jesus” initiative with a grand Peace March on the eve of Good Friday and Easter.

The devotional event, featuring a striking depiction of the crucified Jesus Christ statue, will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, starting at 4:00 PM.

Led by Rev. Cedric Jacob (Vice President), Rev. Edward Gowdar (Secretary), and Rev. Gabriel Gandhi (Treasurer), the march aims to bring together Christians and churches from across Bengaluru in large numbers. Organizers have extended a warm invitation to all believers to participate and strengthen communal bonds during this sacred Holy Week.

The route march will begin from Yelakkaiah Children’s Park  and proceed via St. Andrews Church on Station Road, concluding at Corporation Circle. The procession is expected to witness thousands of participants walking together with prayers, hymns, and banners carrying Easter messages of hope, love, forgiveness, and peace.

Association leaders highlighted that over the past 10 years, the annual march has grown into a cherished tradition for the Christian community in Karnataka, fostering inter-church solidarity and encouraging believers to “Live for Jesus” in their daily lives. The 2026 milestone edition is anticipated to see one of the largest turnouts yet.

The Peace March is purely spiritual and devotional in nature, with no political affiliations. Necessary permissions have been sought from authorities to ensure the event proceeds peacefully and smoothly. Residents and commuters along the route are requested to cooperate and extend their support.

Local churches and community groups have been urged to mobilize members in large numbers. Further details regarding assembly points, traffic advisories, and coordination will be shared shortly through church networks and official channels.

This unifying event reaffirms the Christian community’s commitment to peace, faith, and mutual support in Hubballi
