
Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Tuesday launched the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls by filling out the enumeration form at his residence in Sadashivanagar, as the statewide revision drive began.
The SIR aims to carry out a comprehensive revision of the electoral rolls across the state.
As part of the launch, the Chief Minister received the enumeration form from election officials and filled it out, formally marking the beginning of the campaign.
Bengaluru South Deputy Commissioner Yashwanth Gurukar was present on the occasion.
