Police Hold Coordination Meeting for Peaceful Christmas & New Year Celebrations

The Hubballi Dharward Pastor & Leaders along with the City Police Department conducted a coordination meeting today to review and strengthen security arrangements for the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations scheduled between 1 December 2025 and 1 January 2026.
The meeting was led by DCP (Crime & Traffic) R. Ravesh Kumar and DCP (Law & Order) Mahaning Nandagavi, who instructed all religious institutions and community leaders to strictly adhere to safety and law-and-order guidelines during the festive season.
Senior church leaders including Pastor Cedric Jacob and Pastor S. G. Peter
Ps. Hubert Ps Bhaskar attended the meeting and assured their full support to maintain peace and harmony during the celebrations. They also provided details of the prayer services, carol programs, and community events planned across various churches in the city.

The 59th Ward Corporator of HDMC Suvarna Kallukuntala was also present and assured cooperation from the municipal side regarding civic arrangements such as lighting, cleanliness, and public facility management near event venues.
Police officials emphasized the following key points:
All events must be conducted peacefully, without causing public inconvenience.
Religious gatherings should follow crowd management and traffic regulations.
Event organizers should take precautionary measures to prevent noise pollution.
Any suspicious activities must be reported immediately to the police.
Churches, organizations, and community groups should coordinate closely with the respective police stations.
DCP R. Ravesh Kumar highlighted that maintaining smooth traffic and preventing congestion will be a priority, while DCP Mahaning Nandagavi reiterated the department’s commitment to ensuring law and order throughout the festive period.
The Hubballi City Police appeal to all citizens to extend their cooperation to help ensure that Christmas and New Year celebrations in the city are conducted safely, peacefully, and joyfully.
