Dharwad, April 7, 2026: A free medical camp was successfully organized today at the Dharwad Worship Center in Kelgeri, Dharwad, in collaboration with Apollo Diagnostics, Dharwad. The initiative aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to the local community, with special focus on general health check-ups, distribution of free medicines, and spectacles.

Distinguished guests Shri. N.H. Konaraddi , MLA of Navalgund constituency, and Shri. Robert Daddapuri, Syndicate Member of Karnataka University, Dharwad, graced the event with their presence. The camp commenced at 10:00 AM and continued till evening, offering a range of free medical services to attendees.

Rev. Cedric Jacob, Founder of the Dharwad Worship Center (also known as Open Arms Ministries), played a pivotal role in organizing the camp. He emphasized the importance of health awareness, highlighting how unhygienic conditions and neglect of personal well-being are leading to preventable loss of lives in the community. In his address, Rev. Jacob reminded everyone that "our body is the temple of the God who created us," urging all to take responsibility for keeping it safe and healthy.
